Is Utah Considered Southwest? As I write this for my new website, I realized that this trip was two years ago. Wow! I went to St George, Utah, to take photos of my friends running in the marathon and half-marathon there. If you’re a runner and live on the north side of Houston, check out Northside Running and Tri. It’s an incredible group of people. They’ll become your family.
Okay, back to the photos. I camped near Zion National Park after the marathon event. I took the long way from St George by going north and dropping back down through Brian Head. Once at my campsite, I visited some slot canyons nearby. After watching “127 Hours” a few years ago, I was apprehensive, but I was with others, so my fear was slight. The light and colors were marvelous.
The last part of my trip included three days in Ft. Davis State Park in West Texas. The wide open spaces and blue skies held me captive. I started looking for property while there. But the Lord has different plans for me, so it was a dream.
